Overview

The SDK includes Android-specific implementations of several Foundation APIs that are not available in upstream Swift on Android:

  • Networking — URLSession via a Java HttpUrlConnection bridge
  • File System Paths — NSHomeDirectory, NSTemporaryDirectory, and FileManager mapped to correct Android directories
  • Timezone — TimeZone.current correctly returns the device’s active timezone
  • Resources — Bundle.module access to SPM package resources
